Recently, MakerBot come out with a huge collection of App (for IOS, Android and Web) to simplify the design process of 3d objects.
Fraemes, for example, is an easy-to-use web app for creating personalized, 3D printed iPhone cases; Zootebook is an app that allows to design shapes in 2D and prepare files to be 3D printed or for the lasercute machine.
Someone out there might say: "Damn...I design and sell a lot of personalized Iphone cases...these apps will destroy my market" and other things like these.
May be, but almost everyone have a pc, a word processor and a 2d printed: has everyone written a bestseller?
