E' sbottato così, durante una conferenza per il Premio Príncipe de Asturias de las Arte, dopo che un giornalista gli ha domandato come risponde a coloro che lo accusano di fare "architettura-spettacolo". Si è poi scusato dicendo di essere stanco per il lungo viaggio.
