The project is an idea of Abeer Seikaly to solve the problem of the need of housing units in the case of natural disasters and wars.
The solutions is a structural fabric tend of flexible patterns that blur the distinction between structure and skin.
The shape of the structural fabric elements provide a lot of different solutions and configurations to human needs:
- Light and ventilation control
- Water storage
- Natural regulation of the temperature (hot and cold)
- Electricity (solar panels)
The tend can be easily assemble and disassemble according to the needs of the occupants.
